Result ?......The best death look I have seen for ages, from 20 meters :-)

Some of the signatures are from, Osibisa, Frankie Valli, Tony Beard, John Reid, KC and the Sunshine Band, Pilot, Big Country, Druids and Joe Pass...

I saw this bodge on the tube track....

It seems that "BT" don`t seem to trust anyone.....

Here we go again,
Hi to all of you, thanks for looking in.

I was at the London 2600 meeting and was approached by the manager, after a bit of chat we have one more meeting at the Big Red, as we have been given our marching orders.....they are not making enough money from us over the bar and want ?200 an hour rental, but we are in the middle of finding another place in Liverpool St, ) a group of us went to a local pub to have a chat about Bluetooth insecurties,
A friend had suggested that I might be able to extend the range of the USB Bluetooth tag by attaching a WiFi antenna to it as it is compatable with the Bluetooth frequency.
I brought this up in the disscusion and it was well debated on what could be done with it ....
I then came up with and idea that the program "SMAC" which allows you to change your mac address and shows you which others are present whilst being on a LAN or WiFi setup, just may work with Bluetooth.....Hmmm....I am doing tests on my own LAN and will let you all know of the results :-)

Outside the pub where we were sitting, was an outdoor heater thing and we were trying to get it going ...then this well built Barwoman came out and told us it was out of gas....so I asked her if she would like to come and keep me warm instead ?
Result ?......The best death look I have seen for ages, from 20 meters :-)

..................................
I have been checking out another internet cafe in town near Centrepoint, and down stairs there is a wall covered with Autographs from a whole load of bands from around the seventies and the eighties and some of them have been playing since the late sixties....

Some of the signatures are from, Osibisa, Frankie Valli, Tony Beard, John Reid, KC and the Sunshine Band, Pilot, Big Country, Druids and Joe Pass...
The place used to be a recording studios and there is thanks to EMI on the wall, also, Jimmy Hendrix did recordings there.
Some prat, at some time or another painted over some of the wall and it loks like there were a lot more sig`s under the paint.
I have taken some High res photos and if any one wants copies you can Email me at :- "the-old-gitmonkey@hushmail.com"...
NB, REMOVE "monkey" FIRST
They are large, but then this allows you to see the details better, the ones on this blog are reduced by 70% and so, are not so viewable.
Autographs

I am checking out the history of the building and might find out what the studios were called....

I wound up Foyles Bookshop by asking for Dr-K`s new book Hackers tales, they said that the books not published yet and so have no copies.....
Ah... I say..... I thought you were claiming to be the best bookshop everywhere ?....Yes we are......Hmmm, then how come Borders just across the road have had copies for at least three weeks ?
Are you sure? you might be getting it mixed up with his other book because if it was out we would have it...
Yes I am sure, I have just had a look at a copy :-)
Oh...thats not very good ..is it ?...wimper wimper ....

It seems that "BT" don`t seem to trust anyone digging holes very much since the last episode of events with the substation.....

Got back to Hammersmith after the meeting late enough to miss the pubs kicking out....there was no one around, but the road and pavement around the three trouble Pubs were covered in loads of broken bottles and glasses for around fifty metres.

I can`t think of anymore to write for the moment so thats your lot for now, thanks for reading and a special Hi to the regular visitors...you know who you are :-)
