Tree on Track

Yesterday a tree fell onto the tube tracks at Barons Court and closed the Piccadilly and District lines for a few hours....

The Internet cafe crashed twice this week....

Dr-K's book is not being published till the 1st of March.....

On the way back there was a *pissed woman trying to use a fag packet as an oyster card.....?

It turns out that the cable was carrying 11000 volts....yes....Eleven Thousand Volts.....

Well what can you say?....Friday the Thirteenth certainly lived up to it`s reputation today.....

The computer rooms shut down one at a time then the lights went out.....

Hmmm, maybe going on the Internet isn`t so safe.....

Hi folks I was going to do this blog yesterday,
But things have been entertaining around here....

thrown into the back of the car and driven away at high speed......

Hmmm, the guy had downloaded a ring tone and the screen
displayed a smiley face and the phone shut off.....

I have a stinking cold for a week or so (but shook it off quicker than most people) so havn`t had much to collect or write to a blog :-(

The big freeze is on the way :-)
Yesterday 6 C` above and today 1.4 C` above...


I have been very busy with learning about the ins and outs of mobile phones and ....a little bit of Linux....for the last couple of weeks.
But a few things have happened....

I am running two Anti virus checkers and a Firewall on my laptop....the **sysad asked if I was paranoid :-)
