Hello everyone,
It has been a strange week....
---------------

The owner of a chip shop "The Lighthouse" in North End road, Fulham, which used to be my local chippy (not far from here) was shot in April and recovered, has been shot again this week and died as a result, his brother was also shot but is not in a critical condition.

My Respects to the family....

Well with Crimbo and all that cobblers here, I decided to put some lights on the Conifer that lives on my window ledge, it`s 3ft high by 2ft wide, and off I went to get some Led lights instead of bulbs for it....they don`t need replacing as often.

Maplins had some on sale for a tenner and I thought, sorted, and bought them...
Heh, I misread the length of the damned thing, it is 12.5 metres not feet...oops...

There`s more lights than tree, and they are high bright Leds...

I injected "UHU" glue into the back off each socket to make it waterproof (indoor use only? no chance)...all 120 of them,
That took two hours... they go up tommorrow :-)
And no they won`t catch fire or anything like that ...they don`t get hot enough, and they don`t carry enough current either, even if they short out....

I wonder if it can been seen by satellite ? :-)

We have had the usual upsurge of shoplifting common to this time of year.

The average temperaure over the last few days has dropped and so have the muggings and car crime....ahhhh, bless their hearts...it must be too cold for them....

Today it`s been around three degrees Centigrade but since the fog has invaded (visability 30 metres), it has risen to 7c` at two am.

Last night though was a diferent kettle of fish,
I was going to Earls Court to go online, it is somewhat warmer there than here ...(Hammersmith gets all the cold from the river and the wind coming over the flat areas around Barnes) and I get to Hammersmith Tube Station and am chatting to a friend who works there, and hear "call the police" come over twice on the walkie talkie...

It`s coming from the other gate...So Heh, off I go and see whats happenning and as a couple of my friends often work that gate, they may need a bit of back up,

I get there and see a big black guy giving it large to the Barrier guy, so I saunter up and listen to whats going on.....

It was a problem with his ticket...he kept coming up and yelling abuse and threats to how he and his "bwwois" are going to come and sort him, then walking off, and then coming back to issue more threats and offers of all sorts of violence, all with a reasonable vocabulary of bad language....

No police turned up...
The Station Master didn`t put out a shout....

(alledgedly, from several sources, There have been to many complaints against ethnic people and they have to maintain a Status Quo` on reports of incidents and not make it look like they are being biased...you know...fair play, and all that bunny rabbits...)

The Station Master finally came out and spoke to the guy using some sort of slang, and the guy went away, stating he will be back for the other person tomorrow....

-------------

I get to Earls Court Tube, to find that neither lift is working, I asked if that maybe this could be displayed at the other stations, for other people that are disabled one way or another, so that they, know in advance of this problem and can change their plans :-(

I had to go back home after forgetting to bring something with me and get to Hammersmith, to find nothing on the sign board at the front of the station, re the lifts, and asked the person on duty can he put it on the sign ...he says , it is already reported and should be on there...oh...it`s not...hmmm, ok I will get it sorted.....

-------------

I get back to Earls court and decide to have a chill out with mother nature, my friend that has joined me nearly gets mugged for his Rolex watch by three guys, whom it turns out later were in a video shop earlier, two of which were trying to distract the assistant while the other hits the till,

The Prats ought to do some home work first....my "friend" is a rather highly paid "Professional Body Guard" type of person and is well known in the area...oh and partly owns the video shop and most of the surrounding area...and I am ...umm, well...ME!....we won ;-)

-------------

I am now on the way back to Hammersmith and get to Barons Court Station, out of the corner of my eye I see a guy rushing down the stairs just as a man is stepping backwards from the edge of the other platform opposite to me,
The two collide and the man stepping back fell onto the track just behind the train,

I am holding the doors of my train open to see if they need help as there was no sign of Staff around and go over and sort things out...my train pulls out.
As it was, the man was lucky and missed the live rail but was netherless shocked by his near death encounter, plus the pain of a 4 ft fall on to rail track,

NO STAFF SHOWED UP!!!! WHY THE HELL NOT???? what? are the cameras not monitored????

I was holding the train doors open, so surely the driver must have looked back to see why, and if he did, why didn`t he go over to see why a crowd is crouched down with outsretched hands towards the track and that others are standing there looking shocked?
The same goes for the person driving the train on the same track that the guy was on, pulling out a good two minutes after the guy had fallen.....doesn`t he have to check that everything is safe in his mirror, before pulling off ?

This was around 9 / 9.30 Tuesday pm.

Well that it`s for the night / morning,
5.15am.
