Dead Hard drives, Breakdowns and More on Oyster cards.

I think that I must be completly Jinxed for getting this last lot of posts online !!!!!!

" *Rule Number One " of Trashing was broken, today, right in front of me,

Just after saving this blog to floppy, my 30 gig Hdd on this box has just locked up and is doing the "click of Death".....

"Someone who works for them" who shall remain nameless (three of us knows who he is ;-) and one of them is him)....

Oh here`s another thing, for you Disabled people out there, the new lifts at Earls court station going to the District Line.....

I am getting seriously fuqed off with Microwave cookers...
Like, what have they got against me ?.....

Bah, Fuq and humbug, the Damned server has been revamped....

Hello to all of you,

I hope that you are finally able to read this.

I think that I must be completly Jinxed for getting this last lot of posts online !!!!!!

The Online "host" has screwed up the hour and half that I spent updating my blog yesterday.... Big Grrrrrr.......

I am well peeved, as the last few posts are quite entertaining....
Heh, well, so I have been told by people reading the transcripts :-)

I don`t know what went wrong, but one minute it was online and viewable...and half an hour later...it wasn`t ????
It seems they used the previous days back up files on the stand in or whatever it was, server :-(

Ps,

Just after saving this blog to floppy, my 30 gig Hdd on this box has just locked up and is doing the "click of Death"
Then, if that is not enough, 5 minutes later a forty gig "back up", Hdd, has declared that it has the dreaded symptoms of rapidly dying sectors :-((
I havn`t enough cd`s to burn to, or space on the other Hdd`s to rescue everything, so I am having to do a lot of housework on the boxes to get something reasonably organized..Grumble, grumble, chunter, chunter, etc....

Update on the "Oyster cards", there are over 120 error codes ...some of them can be tailored to whatever needs that they want.

While I am on about the Tube...

"Someone who works for them" who shall remain nameless (three of us knows who he is ;-) and one of them is him)....Was saying how he hates the ticket touts and what it does to the transport system as a knock on effect due to loss of revenue,
So I drew a few comparisons to other things that get exploited...He thought about these for a couple of minutes and then said "All I do is give my parking ticket on to someone if there is time left on it" ......hmmm.....actually ...sh*t...it`s the same thing isn`t it ? :-)

Oh here`s another thing, for you Disabled people out there, the new lifts at Earls court station going to the District Line, half way down the platform, have been made with a slight cock up...they have put them in the wrong place by 6 inches and there is not enough turning room for wheelchair users to back out and turn, and it is going to be a long time with all the red tape before they will get torn down and put up in the right place and in the meantime no-one will be allowed to use them....

Also there is a major cock up with the Fulham Broadway tube station disabled lifts, put in during the very expensive refurbishment of the area and the ex "Chelsea" football ground,
Apparantly they died soon after opening and never worked properly anyway (the "lifts" not Chelsea) ....BUT the main reason being, was that the electrical cabling used did not have the recognised "latest" fire safety tag, dot mattrixed along it, and got closed down under safety regulations....
All at how much cost? to the general public, and the person that is suffering the inconvienence?
"Alledgedly" The people that run it say that they cannot afford to replace the cabling for a very long time....the first time around costs, have blown their budget ?

" *Rule Number One " of Trashing was broken, today, right in front of me,

I am going up the street behind the accursed Sainsbury`s store in broad daylight and there is a Somalian woman going through all the hooded bins and throwing the stuff out on to the pavement to see if there is any thing worth having,
When she had finished she then walked off with nothing, leaving the contents of the bins all over the pavement,
I shouted to her to pick it up and got met with "I want find things" and she walked off.....

This is just not cricket...there is getting to much competition, what, with muggers at night, and this lot going through the bins in the daytime...
Trashing opportunities are getting less frequent, and everywhere is upping their security on the bins :-(

-------------

I am getting seriously fuqed off with Microwave cookers...
Like, what have they got against me ?

Yesterday I broke the tip off an expensive good quality kithchen knife...making the holes in the plastic wrapper of the frozen food so it dosn`t explode whilst cooking,

And then today...instant munchies...I had some frozen stuffing balls in the freezer...(the ones you eat with your Sunday dinner:-) and it said on the packet, 6 minutes for four or adjust time if cooking more, so as I was cooking six, I put them in for 7 minutes....Ping went the microwave....and....they were cremated, as in, brown all the way through, and if you used them as catapult ammo they would have been lethal....

-------------

Whilst walking down the High Street a guy is being nicked....he has a shopping trolley full of the top two high st, supermarkets shopping bags, all fully loaded...
Allegedly, he went into one store and half filled up the trolley and walked straight out without paying and then walked into the other store with the same trolley and contents and did the same thing....and the trolley came from a store nowhere near here ?

*Rule Number One of Trashing,

If you want to come back, leave the place tidy so the owners don`t know you have been there, or just don`t care about you,
If you leave a mess they "WILL" get the hump with you,
Even if you are not coming back still leave it tidy so as not to screw it up for someone else.

Sermon Over +:-)

Looks like spiteful karmic reallignment again. You think you're getting a good deal with a few quids worth of free food and then a few hundred quid of HDD dies on you :( thus is the way of life.

re: security on certain bins

the standard security is a triangular key ..

oftentimes the owners of these bins do not bother to lock them and leave them attached with a cable tie to the handle of the bin ..

you only need *one* key ...

i leave the rest to your imagination
