Tube accidents....

I went to the mid month meeting of London 2600, 6 of us turned up and shared the bar with a Korean birthday party....

We got to Hammersmith to find 25+ men in orange high visability vests outside the tube station forming on mass...

Tube accidents....

I went to the mid month meeting of London 2600, 6 of us turned up and shared the bar with a Korean birthday party, One of the guys won an "old school" Panasonic phone at Brumcon and gave it to me to take home and play with.

On the way back I was going to catch the tube but my friend and I decided on the bus instead...

Whilst on the way to the bus we saw a interesting modification to the front doors of Shaftsbury avenue Fire station...maybe the should open them first, before driving through them...

The sign on the patching up seemed appropriate.

We got to Hammersmith to find 25+ men in orange high visability vests outside the tube station forming on mass,

Jokingly my friend said maybe it`s a derailment and walks off home....well me being me, "interview" one of the guys and find out that a train *had* derailed coming into the station and another 25 or so workers were going to be turning up and maybe more if it turns out to be complicated...

Working out the timing of our journey, if we had gone by tube, we had a one in three chance of being on that train!!
Luckily no one was hurt...and strangely it wasn`t even on the local news...maybe because no one died this time.
Thats all for now and as usual thanks for stopping by and reading my blog.
