Well I`ll be damned

Well I`ll be damned,
I threw out a load of junk and believe me,if I say it`s junk it jolly well is!!!!

The London 2600 meeting was good, with a turn out of around 50/60 people....

Dr-K the author of "A Complete Hackers Handbook" turned up, to meet old friends and also to ask people to contribute hacking stories for his new book .....

I hope that "Star Sailor" is a decent band, I just got tickets to see them, from "XFM 104.9" Radio :-)

Knackered printers, monitors, hi-fi equipment, 486`s, pentium 75`s, computers that are never going to work again, and God knows what else, I took it all around the corner in a shopping trolley and abandoned it....it`s ok,... we can do that around here, so long as it dosn`t cause an obstruction on the footpath or road, the council collect it after two days ...Allegedly, in case anyone else can make use of it first.

A couple of hours later I hear raised voices and look out of the window to see two people arguing over the contents, then one of them picks up a piece of wood and starts beating the other person with it whilst chasing him up the street, then he comes back and takes the whole lot, complete with trolley.....

The London 2600 meeting was good, with a turn out of around 50/60 people, there were many new faces and I did try to meet them all and then chat with the others...but I ran out of time to meet everyone....so I apologise if I didn`t get to talk with you :-(

As usual we met at the Trocadero and then went to the "ex Cyberia"...except instead of having to walk, I got a lift in a black "Lexus" fast thing.. did a few wheel spins around a some Soho back street corners on the way there :-) it was great. Chauffeur driven..and I even had the door opened, for me to get in and out...Nice one Geezer and thanks.

I went to the chip shop with him and we sat on a bench to eat and then chatted about the old days, and it seems that our paths have crossed a few times and that we have quite a lot in common, so I am meeting up with him in a couple of weeks for a couple of pints and another chat :-)

Heh, just found out that one of the decorators working on our exterior refurbishment had a bollocking from a neighbour...some of you know her....(sorry but I don`t like to publish peoples names to events, just in case...well whatever...know what I mean?) anyways it turns out that she nearly bit off more than she could chew with this guy, as he is on "Anger Management" courses put upon him via the Legal system, and that his wife had just dumped him and won possesion of the kids and the new house in Hampshire.....The courses must be working as he walked away, and then said to the Boss that he is going off for a walk to cool down or you can just stuff the job!!!! the boss let him go for a walk...
